What I’m up to

Some inspiration from a glue page, thanks Paula the Quilter!!

One of the nice things about knitting is that you can forget any “I need to be right crap” It can just unfold as it will, you can change the pattern, make one of your own, yes, and even frog it. There is no “wrong” way to do it. I think there will be someone out there that sweater will fit. Or maybe your felted purse will turn into a iPod cozy.

There doesn’t have to be any “rules”, so let your hair down, go sit in the sun, put on some music and pick up those sticks and get some pretty yarn.

I’m making another felted bag, I hope this one turns out a good size. I am using The Propeller Pattern from Bag that Rock by Kelley Deal.

But I’m modifying it some, by using two colors and I am going to do the duplicate stitch propellers in the opposite colors, of the area that they land on, so each propeller will be two colors. Lost?? More photos soon.

Made another wire bird house, pattern to follow….

And have been spinning…

I am planning on having all of this spun soon and dyeing it…I’m feeling yellow, I have seen lots of yellow spring flowers, yes I think I need some yellow yarn.

May your needles fly as fast as Dragonflies….
