After almost 3 days we have our power back on.
Many people here are still in temp. shelters, we are lucky to have our power. It is reassuring how people can help total strangers when in a terrible situation. I have seen many random acts of kindness.
Here are a few pics of our house and street.
This is all after snow got plowed. I had no before shots. We were too busy under layers of blankets and clearing limbs.
Wow. Oops, indeed! Hope you can get things repaired quickly!

After one of the hurricanes in Florida, the area looked like a land of blue tarps. Hope that isn't what your neighborhood will look like. Knit, knit, knit. It will keep you warm in the long run.
ReplyDeleteWow, it would be kind of pretty if it wasn't so devastating. It's nice to see human kindness come out.
ReplyDeleteOh My Goodness. I 'm so sorry about the limb through the roof.
ReplyDeleteLike LynnH I hope you can get it repaired soon. Those ice pictures are amazing.
Oh, wow, that's amazing. I'm so glad your house survived in tack and that you have power again.
