Fast Knitted Wrap

This pattern is the Melanie Shawl (free pattern), This is a repeat knit for me. I made the first one a little longer and can actually double it and wrap it as a scarf.
This shawl I used 3 skeins of Lion Brand Homespun, I didn’t know what to do with it. I had started another wrap with it that was crochet and forgot how I dislike working with the Homespun yarn. It is so splitty! Terrible to crochet with (for me anyway)! Knitting with this is OK and it is soft and fluffy, easy to care for, machine wash and dry on cool air.

This was super fast and fun way to get rid of this yarn and ended up looking very nice. Good to toss over your shoulders or I keep it on the back of a chair for anyone who gets chilled in the house.

Review of a Kick Spindles Or Mother Marion to spin

When I made the decision to buy a Kick spindle I could find very little info on it, anywhere. Below is what I gathered, bought and my experience with mine. I could only find two being marketed, since I purchased mine I have found a third. Below is my views on the Kick spindle I purchased (Little Meggie from Heavenly Handspinning), and some info on all of the other Kick Spindles that I could locate. Links and costs are included. Fibonacci and Knitting

Some time ago I learned that Fibonacci can be applied to knitting. If you are not familiar with Fibonacci, he was a mathematician from the middle ages. He figured out the relationship of proportions, now known as the golden ratio (or number), Fibonacci sequence or 1.618 or Phi. This sequence is seen in practically everything.
