Day in the life of….

I know, long time for a break….. But I’m back…..missed you guys! Have to catch up on what everyone is doing! To sum up… -I think summer is here! Yay!! I’m feeling pretty good, but experience some serious brain fog. I can forget what I’m saying in the middle of a sentence. On the bright side I can’t remember what I’m stressing about. LOL -Still committed to not coloring my hair, as it grows in…..kind of used to looking at the lighter color now. Need lots of conditioning for grey hair, lots of moisture needed to tame the wild and crazy, course feel of it. I’ll have a list of products that I’ve settled on for now. Or I’d love to know any that work for you. I found that having grey/white hair allows me to talk to any women with the same. I pass a women showing her greys and smile. DIY’s I want to make…

Simplifying and cleaning…homemade cleaning products

I started with homemade deodorant! post here , I’ve made more, I’m so crazy about it. Now I’m in the middle of cleaning my house and trying to simplify and de-clutter. In the process I started experimenting with homemade cleaning products. Supplies I used: Tea Tree Oil, Baking soda, Vinegar, Lemons, Oil of Clove, and Lavender Oil. Just Google any of the essential oils and you will find an incredible list of uses for them. Oh and a couple of squirt bottles, I reused old ones. You can find them for about a dollar if you need to get some, try the dollar store! I did try the homemade laundry detergent and returned to using Tide, it didn’t clean as well as I had hoped and was a bit icky http://www.thesimpledollar.com/2008/04/09/making-your-own-laundry-detergent-a-detailed-visual-guide/ If anyone out there has a good one, let me know!
